Gifts Everyone Will Remember
The holidays get busier every year and Thanksgiving seems to happen closer and closer to Christmas (It shouldn’t be possible but it feels very true!) It’s harder and harder to put thought into holiday gifting. We often feel forced to buy what is convenient over what is meaningful.
This year, try these meaningful gift ideas that won’t cause clutter and aren’t hard to make happen!
Mom/Wife:
- Subscription to a meal service – pre-made if she is already overwhelmed or quick and easy kits if she actually enjoys cooking. Want to upgrade? Splurge on a personal chef!
- Monthly car wash subscription – bonus points if you offer to bring it in for her each month. The upgrade on this one is to have it detailed and schedule it for her. Don’t add a “To Do” to her list.
Create a Year in Review photo album – likely she has taken all the photos so you may need to borrow her phone but you can upload the photos to apps like Shutterfly. Most will even create the book for you to edit. - Take something big off her plate. Do you usually have a family photo session? – organize it for her. Planning a vacation? – do all the planning and just let her know what to pack!
- Treat her to Imagine’s new home management services so laundry, food restocking, errands and general home tidiness are done for the whole family.
Dad/Husband:
- Coffee/Craft Beer or Distillery subscription – try something new each month.
- Personal trainer/Golf Lessons/Tennis Lessons/Pickleball Lessons – get moving with something they will enjoy doing and even something you can do together.
- Handyman for a Day – take care of some of those things on the to do list that are never going to get done or are just really out of scope for the “watch it on YouTube” skillset (P.S. We can schedule this for you!)
Gift a garage or office organizing session – we have gift certificates
The Kids:
- Plan a big event sleep over – upgrade and have a service plan it to make it over the top (And take away all the “stuff” when they go)
- Plan a family trip or adventure – doesn’t have to be long or far away – just a little escape where you are all doing something together.
- Plan a “Yes” day where the kids get to choose the food, activities and meals.
- Volunteer together
- Artwork Book (See our special below!)
Friends:
- Host a “mini-makeover” day
- Book a group painting class or learn to play Mahjong
- Organize a holiday movie marathon.
